Katrina
owns and operates Long Shot Film Entertainment and has
done since 1999 as the senior creative producer and director.
She's a highly respected creative professional with years of experience
across all areas of the film and television industry.
Katrina
has produced or directed the majority of productions listed within
this site. She's trained in business and film management, film
and television directing, multimedia production, and as an actor.
Katrina is also a Tropfest
finalist director and has received a number of filmmaking awards.
Aside
from her work as a writer or director, Katrina's credits also
include working as a television producer (Standing Up for
ABC TV), first assistant director (Totally Full Frontal,
Network 10), producer's assistant (The Late Show, ABC TV),
short film selection panel memeber (Melbourne International
Film Festival), project manager (St Kilda Film Festival),
and comedy writer (Granada Productions, Cornerbox
Productions) and she's been an invited guest speaker
at a number of film forums & conferences.
Katrina
continues to also work as a professional actor. She was a Moosehead
Award Recipient at the 2003 Melbourne International
Comedy Festival for the comic stage play Footy
Chicks and she's also starred in an Australian telemovie Economy
Class; the ABC TV comedy series Flipside;
the short feature Crazy Richard,
and many guest roles on shows such as Blue Heelers.
Currently
Katrina is performing the role of Sandra Sultry
and various other characters on Channel 10's The
Wedge as well as ocassionally directing material for the show.
Recently
Katrina has also been directing TVC's for 9mm
Commercials and producing and directing some projects for
leading corporate media company Immediacy.
