Blussh is the musical vision of Shane McKay & Tanya Cavanagh and their music can be described as an emotional blend of pop rock with a contemporary organic edge! With outstanding incredible reputations as two of Melbourne's top musicians, Shane (guitar/vocals) and Tanya (drums/vocals) teamed up just over twelve months ago to make incredible music.

A little about Blussh...As a graduate of orchestral percussion at the VCA, Tanya Cavanagh has developed a reputation of one of Australia's leading drummers. She has played alongside internationals such as Branford Marsalis & Kenny Kirkland, and in previous outfits, has supported Joan Jett, The Divinyls, the Tea Party and Wilson Pickett...she has also performed with Circus Oz, David Jones DRUM! Andrew Hoskings Coupe DeVille and Bachelor Girl. She is a gifted songwriter, totally dynamic drummer percussionist and is also featured on lead and backing vocals!

The other half of Blussh is Shane McKay - one of this country's most sought after session guitarist/vocalists, having played with the cream of the crop in the industry. He has been performing in various cover acts while developing his prolific songwriting, arranging & producing skills. Shane produced all the tracks of the Blussh EP and features on guitar and vocals in the Blussh line up.

The evolution and release of Blussh's original material has been eagerly awaited by many for some time now!
