KATRINA MATHERS Katrina owns and operates Long Shot Film Entertainment and has done since 1999 as the senior creative content producer and director. Most of the time she's the one you'll be dealing with. She's a highly respected creative professional with years of experience across all areas of the film and television industry. Katrina has produced or directed the majority of productions listed within this site. She's trained in business and film management, film and television directing, multimedia production, and as an actor. Katrina is also an Tropfest Finalist director and has received a number of filmmaking awards. Aside from her work as a writer or director, Katrina's credits also include working as a television director (The Wedge, Channel 10), producer (Standing Up for ABC TV), producer/director (Skybus TV for Immediacy), first assistant director (Totally Full Frontal, Network 10), short film selection panel member (Melbourne International Film Festival), project manager (St Kilda Film Festival), and comedy writer (Granada Productions, Cornerbox, Act 3 Animation and ABC TV) and she's been an invited guest speaker or judge at a number of film forums, awards & conferences. Katrina continues to also work as a professional actor, voice over artist and animation voice actor, most recently she's been appearing as a regular actor on Channel 10's popular sketch series The Wedge. Katrina starred in Economy Class, an Australian telemovie with Charles 'Bud' Tingwell and Marg Downey, as well as the ABC TV comedy series Flipside. She appears in the original short film that was made for Saw; the multi-award winning interactive production about heroin addiction Shot, and many guest roles on shows such as Blue Heelers. Katrina also played lead roles in the independent features Crazy Richard, and Cold and the Italian/Spanish feature co-production Move! Where Are You Going. Katrina performed alongside Fiona Harris in their Melbourne International Comedy Festival show Footy Chicks which was supported by the Moosehead Awards. |

| FIONA HARRIS Fiona collaborated with Long Shot Film Entertainment in the early days as a writer, performer and producer. Most recently she's been writing and performing for the Channel 9 sketch comedy series Comedy Inc. Previously she was a writer/performer for SkitHouse produced by Rove McManus for Channel 10. Fiona has developed a range of drama and comedy scripts and has received development funding from the AFC. She wrote the Moosehead Award supported Footy Chicks stage play for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival which she developed and performed with Katrina Mathers. She also wrote and performed a solo comedy festival show called Halo Dolly. Fiona has a substantial list of acting credits for both the stage and screen. Fiona also appeared alongside Katrina and Gerard (below) in the ABC TV Series Flipside. |

GERARD COGLEY Gerard's background as comedy writer, voice performer and actor led him to collaborating with Long Shot Film Entertainment also in the early days. He remains involved with various projects as a writer, performer, producer and more recently also as a director. Gerard was responsible for writing and producing the successful original stage productions Jack the Ripper, Hound of the Baskervilles, Spunk and It's Pathetic and many independent comedy festival and fringe festival shows. Gerard, also often known as Mr Ged began his career with many years writing for and hosting the Radio PBS comedy show The Comic Box and Channel 31 program of the same name. He continues to work regularly as a standup comedian and MC and is currently rehearsing to tour with the Arj Barker stage show The Marijuana-logues. Gerard also wrote and directed the short films Ziggy's Fan & John Turbo as well as the independent feature Cold which is currently in post production. Gerard was also a writer/performer in Flipside with Katrina and Fiona. |

DEAN
FRANCIS
Dean has collaborated on many Long Shot Film Entertainment productions over the years as a freelance director, DOP, producer, composer and editor. Dean has a substantial list of film credits, including several award winning short films, and the short feature Crazy Richard which he wrote and directed in collaboration with Katrina and produced through his production company. Dean recently completed studying directing full time at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School in Sydney. He is a Sydney based content producer and TV commercials director and continues to collaborate on various film projects and screenplays. |

CAYARTE NETWORK Cayarte is an Intercultural Network of creative members around the world who are interested in new ways working with media and continuous experimentation of the communicative potential of arts. Already several projects have been produced collaboratively with content being supplyed over the internet, inlcuding the popular feature project Move! Where are You Going. The Network involves production associates in Germany, India, Thailand, Spain and Italy, with Rome being the task force of the network for coordination of projects and a reference point. Its role is supported and developed in Madrid, Spain. |
